A good paint job is about preparation and dedication. It's about doing things right the first time so that the highest finish can be achieved. To accomplish our "Dipped in Water" look, we have to take that extra step and achieve a higher level of preparation.

In this stage of the restoration, the cab is mounted on. Parts are installed to check for fit before painting then disassembled again. After sanding, cleaning and sealing, the parts are painted. Many shops stop after applying the clear coat, but to achieve our trademarked "Dipped in Water" look, we take it a step further by sanding down the new clear coat until it is very smooth. Finally, we polish and buff and polish...until this happens.
